Hutton House is Stanislaus County’s only shelter for runaway and homeless youth, ages 13-17. While at the shelter, youth receive residential services, as well as individual, group and family counseling. The program goals focus on getting youth off the street and reunited with their families.

Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Shelter Staff with tasks, answer the crisis line, perform intakes, lead recreational activities, tutor youth, co-facilitate groups, transport youth to meetings, events and appointments, interact with youth, chart in files and participate in other activities to provide support to youth and families.

Requirements:  Must be at 21 years of age;  availability to attend an interview and all training;  ability to demonstrate capacity to fulfill duties and time commitments as stated above; Pass TB test and fingerprint clearance.

Hours:  Flexible but we ask for 4 hours per week.
