If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a difference for community cats in your neighborhood this class is for you. Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the humane approach to addressing community cat populations. Cat Network of Stanislaus will be presenting a demonstration and instruction on how you can begin your own trapping efforts. Our volunteer instructors will go over preparing/setting up, supplies needed, what to do if you come across special circumstances like sick or pregnant cats, recovery time, release and care.

Class will be from 9am-noon in the parking lot outside our office at 2020 Coffee Rd Modesto. No supplies are needed, but if you have your own traps feel free to bring them.

Love Modesto October 9th begins at 8:00 am online at for our Virtual Rally. We will all meet here BEFORE GOING TO YOUR PROJECT LOCATION at 9:00 am.
When you arrive at your project location make sure to check in with you project leader. You will need to receive instructions from them on the specifics of your project.
Stanislaus County Public Health encourages volunteers to take appropriate safety precautions that include wearing face coverings, hand washing, social distancing, and staying home if you or someone in your household is sick.
Thank you for your willingness to "Love Modesto"! If you have any questions, please email
